Senior Associate

Philip S. Traynor is a senior associate at Manning & Meyers, where he focuses on real estate litigation.  Prior to joining Manning & Meyers, Philip was Texas managing attorney for a national law firm representing major banks and financial institutions, mortgage servicers and government-sponsored entities in Texas, Florida, Oklahoma and Alaska.  Philip has extensive experience arguing his clients’ cases from Dallas County Justice of the Peace Courts to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Philip is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping and hiking.  He is on a quest with his family to visit all 63 national parks in the United States and enjoys exploring the wild places around Texas.

Philip earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then spent several years as a paralegal in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Philip graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of Law where he was a member of the Law Review and Articles and Notes Editor for the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.
