Keith Ellis

Keith R. Ellis is partner at Manning & Meyers, where he focuses on real estate litigation. Mr. Ellis is a seasoned civil litigator with significant experience in complex defense matters, with a particular concentration in personal injury and commercial trucking litigation. Prior to joining Manning & Meyers, his broad background representing both plaintiffs and defendants provides him with a comprehensive understanding of litigation strategy, risk assessment, and effective case management.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ellis also served in the office of general counsel for a financial services company, where he advised on corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.
Mr. Ellis began his legal practice handling personal injury matters on both sides of the docket before transitioning into defense‑focused roles. In recent years, his work has centered on commercial trucking and transportation litigation. His diverse experience equips him to evaluate cases holistically, anticipate opposing positions, and guide matters efficiently from initial investigation through resolution or trial.
During law school, he was awarded the Book Award in Trial Advocacy and served as Class President during his third year. Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Ellis enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally and attending live music performances.
