DALLAS — Manning & Meyers has received the Gold Award for pro bono work from the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) for 2017. The Gold Award is the highest honor given to a law firm office with 50 lawyers or less that accepted and closed the most pro bono cases in 2017.

The firm’s attorneys and paralegals completed more pro bono hours, on average, than any other law firm with less than 50 attorneys.

Jack Manning also received the “Outstanding Volunteer” award for his work at legal clinics. The Outstanding Volunteer award is given to the volunteer who logs the most volunteer hours at the legal clinics for the calendar year.

DVAP, a joint program of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, provides free legal services to those citizens of Dallas County, Texas living at or below the poverty level. DVAP focuses on recruitment, training, and supporting volunteer attorneys who donate legal services to income-eligible clients. Manning & Meyers is a proud supporter of DVAP.
